Church Administrator

Rev Andy Acheson

Minister

Andy is married to Katie, and together they have three young daughters and a very soppy cocker spaniel. A passionate Bible teacher, Andy longs to see more people come to know Jesus. He is a former youth worker and music minister, and has been involved with the Keswick Convention for many years. Creative at heart, Andy enjoys writing songs and poems, twiddling on his guitar, and diving into a good crime novel. He’s also sport mad—especially about football, cricket, F1, and NFL—and is a bit of a film buff too. Andy became Minister of St Anne’s Church in August 2023 and feels incredibly thankful to be part of such a loving church family here in Grantham.

Brian Gordon

Discipleship and Training Pastor

Brian loves teaching the Bible and finding ways to equip the church family to grow in Christlikeness. He completed his ministry training through Crosslands and has been serving in his local church for many years. Before joining the staff team, he spent 25 years working in the NHS and continues to serve part-time as a cardiologist. He is married to Karen, and they have three children—Mollie, Jessica, and Daniel. Brian enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring the outdoors, and hunting for the world’s best coffee shops.

Rhys Nicholls

Children's and families Worker

Rhys is married to Georgia, and together they have a young daughter, Dottie. He has a deep love for seeing children included in God’s church and enjoys opening the Bible with them to share the good news of Jesus. Before joining St Anne’s, he was a ministry trainee in London, where he and Georgia grew in their heart for church ministry. In his spare time, Rhys enjoys walking, reading, and watching sport—especially football and cricket—and is always up for trying a new sport, no matter how niche.

Mo Power

Youth and Communications Worker

Mo is passionate about seeing people come to know Jesus and find a true sense of belonging in the church family. After earning a degree in Applied Theology, she spent a year in Western Uganda serving as a secondary school and prison chaplain, while also teaching media skills to NGOs in the North Kigezi Diocese. With a background in musical theatre, Mo brings creativity to her ministry—whether editing reels in the church office or leading worship alongside her husband, Victory. Mo loves sharing the Word of God and teaching the gospel of hope to young people and the wider church community.

Fran Marchant

Administrator

Fran is a married mother of two who lives her life with and for God. When she’s not reading her Bible, she enjoys visiting museums and libraries or spending time in her garden—often battling slugs in her flower beds! Born and raised in London, Fran now calls Lincolnshire home, where she appreciates the surrounding forests, fields, and rivers that reflect God’s creation. She feels truly blessed to be part of the St Anne’s Church family and looks forward to growing together in faith and sharing in the ministry of Jesus.

Ted Hands

Authorised Lay Minister

Born in Birmingham and eldest of seven, Ted spent over 40 years as an Aeronautical Engineer in both military and civil aviation before retiring in 2009. He came to faith while in the RAF and was confirmed in 1971. Married to Chris, they have three children and four grandchildren and have called Grantham home since the mid-1970s. Ted was commissioned as a Lay Minister in the Diocese of Europe in 2013 and later authorised in the Diocese of Lincoln in 2025, where he now joyfully serves as an ALM within St Anne’s Church ministry.

Claire Harvey

Pastoral Worker

Claire loves being a wife, mum, and nanny to her grandchildren. Creativity is her therapy; in any spare time, she can be found making art, writing poems, and composing worship songs. After being saved, God did a deep work of healing in her, and her heart and passion are to see His people walk in the freedom that Christ has won for them. She walks alongside others through different seasons of life, bringing support, care, and God’s Word to bear in their lives.
